Guidelines on accepted article types and the editorial process used to evaluate every submission to JMDET.

Article Types

This journal accepts the following article types:

Research

Research articles present new scientific results within the scope of the journal that have not been published previously and are not being considered for publication elsewhere.

  • Should be written with the following elements in the following order: title page; abstract; keywords; main text — introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion; acknowledgments; declaration of interest statement; references.
  • The abstract should not exceed 250 words.
  • Should contain between 3 and 5 keywords.

Review

Review articles provide critical accounts and comprehensive surveys of topics of major current interest within the scope of the journal.

  • Should be written with the following elements in the following order: title page; abstract; keywords; main text — introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion; acknowledgments; declaration of interest statement; references.

Please note that we accept Review articles of any length under the 'Review' article type.
